Try Hockey for Free this Weekend

Kalamazoo, MI- Wings Stadium, which is also home to The Annex and The Cube, announces that the complex in conjunction with the Kalamazoo Optimist Hockey Association (KOHA) will host a "Try Hockey for Free" this Saturday, November 5th from 6-8 p.m.

Part of an USA Hockey initiative, the Wings Stadium Complex will be one of over 430 sites across the country that will host "Try Hockey for Free" events this Saturday. This event is designed to introduce kids ages 4-9 to the sport of youth hockey.

Parents interested in registering their children for this FREE event can register online at www.tryhockeyforfree.com .

Skates and other hockey equipment will be provided for use during the event for participants.

Stadium Management Company owns the Wings Stadium Complex, the Kalamazoo Wings hockey team, Wings West and the Kalamazoo Jr. K-Wings hockey team. The Wings Stadium Complex is comprised of three buildings; Wings Stadium seats more than 5,100 fans for K-Wings home games and more than 8,000 people for concerts and other stage events. The Annex seats 1,367 for ice events and can seat up to 2,850 for non-ice events such as car, boat, and trade shows. The Cube is the newer of the three facilities and plays host to both ice and non-ice events. All three buildings along with the newly acquired and named Wings West facility are available for rental and feature numerous catering and meeting opportunities.
