Trenton Titans News Release

TRENTON, N.J. - Ryan Hayes, a fan-favorite with the Trenton Devils last season, signed with the Trenton Titans Tuesday.

Hayes, who scored 50 points (23 goals, 27 assists) with the Devils in 2010-11, was one of the qualified players assigned to Trenton in the offseason, but was traded to the Greenville Road Warriors for winger Matt Schepke Aug. 10.

The 22-year-old native of Syracuse played just two games with Greenville, registering an assist, and was waived by Road Warriors Oct. 27.

"I'm glad to be back in Trenton after some interesting travel,'' said Hayes. "I'm looking forward to helping the Titans.''

Titans head coach Vince Williams, who knows Hayes well from his work as a Trenton Devils assistant, is glad to have the Syracuse native on board.

"Ryan will fit in well with us,'' said Williams. "I'm glad we have the chance to bring him back.''

In other roster moves, the Titans placed winger Rob Bordson on the 7-Day Injured Reserve List and transferred winger Steve Silva from the 7-Day IR to the 21-day IR.

The Titans return to the Sun National Bank Center this weekend, welcoming two ECHL Atlantic Division rivals - the Elmira Jackals (Friday, Nov. 4) and Wheeling Nailers (Saturday, Nov. 5).

The Titans are offering a 4-for-$48 ticket package, featuring four hot dogs, four sodas and four lower-level seats for all home games. These packages are available by calling the Titans offices at 609-341-1100.
