Darcy Campbell Returns from AHL

Hoffman Estates, IL - The Chicago Express, proud member of the ECHL and proud affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, announced today that defenseman Darcy Campbell has returned from a loan to the Springfield Falcons, and defenseman Steven Delisle has been reassigned from Springfield (AHL) to the Express.

Campbell played in each of Chicago's first three games this season, totaling three points (0g, 3a), including an assist on F Kyle Ostrow's game winning goal late in the third period against Kalamazoo on October 22. Last season, Campbell played 60 games with the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees where he scored 16 goals and 46 assists for 62 points. He has appeared in 110 games in the AHL, totaling 22 points (9g, 13a) and 89 PIM, mainly with the Lake Erie Monsters. He played in one game for Chicago's NHL affiliate, the Columbus Blue Jackets, in 2006-07.

Defenseman Trent Palm was released by Chicago yesterday.

The Express are back in action on Friday, November 4, at 7:30 pm when the Cincinnati Cyclones come to the Sears Centre. As with all of our Friday games, $1 Beers and $1 Hot Dogs will be served during the game.
