
Tri-City Gets by Hitmen in Shootout

Calgary, AB - Cochrane, AB product Connor Bouchard scored the lone goal of the shootout to lift the Tri-City Americans past the Calgary Hitmen 4-3 on Friday night at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
Bouchard had a big night for the visitors, also supplying the tying goal with 21.7 seconds remaining to force extra time.
In a game that went back and forth, Calgary themselves fought back in the third period erasing a 2-1 deficit in the final six minutes on markers from Mark Kastelic and Carson Focht.
Kyle Olson and Nick Bowman rounded out the scoring for the Ams with Egor Zamula adding the other Hitmen marker.
Calgary outshot Tri-City 49-38 on a night where both goaltenders were named among the three stars. Beck Warm made 46 saves for the Americans while Jack McNaughton turned aside 35 shots for the Hitmen.
Next up for Calgary, is a road trip to Edmonton tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 9 for a date with the Oil Kings. It will be their fourth meeting of the season and second of three this month. It's also the start of a season long six-game road trip for the Hitmen with additional stops in Saskatoon (Nov. 16), Prince Albert (Nov. 17), Regina (Nov. 20), Brandon (Nov. 22) and Moose Jaw (Nov. 23).
The Hitmen won't return to the 'Dome until Friday, Nov. 29 for a 7:00 p.m. start against the Regina Pats.
Single game tickets are on sale now along with the 10-game Hitmen Flex Pack to be used for any game in any combination and a Sunday Funday Pack. The Sunday Funday Pack features nine Sunday Funday tickets and one Teddy Bear Toss ticket for only $10 per game for kids and $16 per game for adults.
