THURSDAY, JUNE 15 PETIT-JEAN FAMILY NIGHT
LAND O'FROST BINGO NIGHT
DHHS NIGHT
Fans can gain $3 general admission tickets just by bringing a proof-of-purchase of any Petit Jean Meats product (receipt or wrapper). Between innings we'll play Land O'Frost bingo to win gift certificates and other prizes. Tickets for DHHS employees located at Department of Health & Human Services offices. First pitch 7:10 p.m.
FRIDAY, JUNE 16 TEXAS LEAGUE ALL-STAR HATS
KIDS RUN THE BASES
With the 2006 Texas League All-Star Game coming up, the Travs are giving away a 2006 All-Star Cap to the first 1,000 paid adults ($6) courtesy of Arkansas Federal Credit Union and Comcast. After the game kids run the bases and receive a free gift courtesy of Gator Park. Get a ticket to the June 20 Texas League All-Star Game in Little Rock for $6 adults and $3 kids (14-and-under). Tonight the Travs take on Wichita with first pitch at 7:10 p.m. Gates open at 6:10 p.m.
SATURDAY, JUNE 17 TRAVS 100TH SEASON BEACH TOWELS
KIDS RUN THE BASES
Get ready for baseball and the beach as the first 1,000 paid adults ($6) receive a free Travs 100th season beach towel courtesy of Mountain Valley Water and KARK. After the game kids run the bases and receive a free gift courtesy of Gator Park. First pitch is set for 7:10 p.m. and the gates at Ray Winder Field open at 6:10 p.m.
SUNDAY, JUNE 18 FATHER'S DAY BALLGAME
AARP DAY * FATHERS AND SONS PLAY CATCH
Come out and enjoy Father's Day at Ray Winder Field with the family. Bring your church bulletin to the ballpark and get the entire family in for just $6. AARP members get in for free with a valid membership card. After the game all father's and sons (moms too and daughters too) are invited onto the field to play catch. It's the last game of the first half of the 2006 Texas League season. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. while the ballpark opens at 1:00 p.m.
MONDAY, JUNE 19 TEXAS LEAGUE ALL-STAR FANFEST AT LITTLE ROCK RIVERMARKET
Come out to the 2006 Texas League All-Star Fanfest hosted by the Travelers at the Little Rock Rivermarket East Pavilion. The All-Stars will be on hand to sign autographs and meet fans and there will be a bevy sports memorabilia available too. Bring the kids to meet the players and enjoy interactive games. The Fanfest will take place from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
TUESDAY, JUNE 20 2006 TEXAS LEAGUE ALL-STAR GAME
For the first time since 1998, the Travelers are the hosts of the Texas League All-Star Game presented by Arkansas Federal Credit Union. Come out early to see the Texas League Home Run Derby preliminary round and see former Major League All-Star and current ESPN Baseball analyst John Kruk throw out a ceremonial first pitch. We'll also have the national finals of the Nuttiest Peanut Vendor contest and the Nuttiest Fan Contest from Reese's Really Nuts! Some of the top talent in all of Minor League Baseball will be on hand for the 2006 Texas League All-Star Game. The finals of the Texas League Home Run Derby will take place at the end of the third inning. The first pitch will be thrown at 7:10 p.m, but the Home Run Derby begins at 6:00 p.m. Gates open 5:00 p.m.
The Travs open the second half of the season on the road and return to Little Rock Friday, June 30 through Tuesday, July 4. North Little Rock caps to paid adults on Friday, June 30. Doubleheader and umbrella giveaway on Saturday, July 1. The First Fireworks in the Rock on Monday, July 3 and a special 1:30 afternoon game on Tuesday, July 4.
