
Travis Novak Re-Joins Walleye

(Toledo, OH) - Forward Travis Novak has returned to Toledo from his loan to the Grand Rapids Griffins of the AHL. Defenseman Joe Gleason has been recalled to the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL
Novak has appeared in nine games this year with the Griffins in two stints, collecting three points (1G, 2A). The second year forward has posted excellent numbers with the Walleye with 30 points (10G, 20A) in 43 games. The 25 year old had 34 points (11G, 23A) in 65 games last year in Toledo.
Gleason started the season in Rockford and had one assist in seven games before being assigned to the Walleye. The 23-year-old defenseman has 18 points (3G, 15A) in 48 games with Toledo this year.
