Aces to Host Fan Appreciation Party and Autograph Session

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The Alaska Aces are scheduled to host a Fan Appreciation Party and Team Autograph Session at the outdoor grounds of Sullivan Arena on Sunday, Apr. 6 from 1-3 p.m.

Admission is free to the event (weather permitting for outdoor arrangements). Sullivan Arena will open its doors at 1:15 p.m. for the team's autograph session, where fans can meet and greet their favorite Aces players before the team's final regular season road trip against Colorado from Apr. 9-12.

Fans are encouraged to bring a few dollars and enjoy a $1 hot dog, outside on the grill. A winner will also be selected in the drawing for the Alaska Mining & Diving Supply 2013 Can-Am Maverick ATV, signed by the entire team and select Aces alumni. Proceeds from the raffle and grilled hot dogs will go to the Aces Summer Youth Hockey Camp in August.

Tickets for the Can-Am Maverick ATV will also be available at the event for $20 until the time of the drawing on Sunday afternoon.

As part of the festivities, kids can also enjoy having their faces painted and balloon artists from Twisted Balloon, who will create their favorite animals.

The schedule for the opening round of the 2014 Kelly Cup Playoffs will be announced soon and further details are available by calling the Aces office at 907-258-ACES. Playoff tickets will be available on Monday, Apr. 7 at the Aces Office on 15th & Gambell. Sign-up, lock-in & save now by calling the Aces Office to reserve your seats.

The Aces return to play tomorrow, visiting the Las Vegas Wranglers at 6:05 p.m. (KFQD) at Orleans Arena with a "magic number" of one point to clinch the Mountain Division title.
