Matchup:
Orlando looks to bounce back tonight after taking a 5-1 loss at the hands of the Cincinnati Cyclones in yesterday's game. The Cyclones struck for two goals in 59 seconds early in the first period to jump out to a 2-0 lead, and then added three more in the second frame to take a 5-0 advantage into the third. F Mickey Lang put the Solar Bears on the board with a power play just under seven minutes into the third period, but it would stand as the lone goal as Cincinnati took the 5-1 victory. The IceMen were also in action last night, facing the Everblades in South Florida. Evansville notched two goals in the first period and scored again early in the second to take a 3-1 lead over Florida, but the Everblades scored four unanswered goals to jump ahead 5-3 just past the halfway point of the final stanza. Evansville battled back, as F Alex Aleardi scored twice in the second half of the third period and picked up his third goal of the game to tie the score at 5-5 with 1:45 left in the contest. With just 12 seconds left in overtime, F Phillip-Michael Devos scored for Florida as the Everblades took the 6-5 OT win. Tonight's contest between Orlando and Evansville is the lone game in the ECHL today.
