
Trashers forward Drew Omicioli named UHL Player of the Week

DANBURY, CT --- The United Hockey League (UHL) announced on Monday that Danbury Trashers forward Drew Omicioli has been named Sher-Wood UHL Player of the Week for a second straight week, for the period ending Sunday, March 5th, 2006.
Drew completed the week with seven points on three goals and a +4 rating in three games played. He tied a franchise record with six points on three goals in Danbury's 7-0 win over Muskegon on March 1st. He later added a pair of assists in Danbury's 3-2 shootout loss to Quad City on Saturday March 4th. The 26-year-old native of West Warwick, Rhode Island leads the Trashers with 34 goals and 63 points.
