DANBURY, CT--David Hymovitz and Mike Omicioli each scored two goals apiece as the Danbury Trashers took a bite out of the Richmond RiverDogs with a 6-3 win before a sold out crowd of 3,005 on Wednesday night at the Danbury Ice Arena.
After Richmond's Joey Bastien scored at the 9:45 mark to give Richmond a 1-0 lead, Hymovitz tied the score with a power play goal at the 18:08 mark after R.C. Lyke was sent off for tripping.
Danbury scored quickly in the second as Regan Kelly netted his 3rd of the season at 4:33, followed by another Hymovitz goal at 5:44. Richmond closed the gap late in the period as Mike Olivera scored a fluke goal as he hit the puck off the back of Sly Daigle before it caromed into the net.
