ROANOKE, VA - The Roanoke Valley Vipers, member of the United Hockey League (UHL), announced today that they have lowered their ticket prices in the goal and center ice sections of the Roanoke Civic Center for the remainder of the 2005-06 UHL season.

The new prices include a $9.50 adult ticket in the goal sections, which had originally been set at $12.50, and a $12.50 adult ticket in the center ice sections, which had originally been set at $15.50. Kids 12 and under will now get in for $7.00, and kids six and under will continue to purchase tickets for $6.00. Vipers group ticket prices will also conform with the new prices, and will still be $1.00 off each ticket for a group of 10-49, $2.00 off each ticket for a group of 50-99, and $3.00 off each ticket for a group of 100 or more.

"We have received a great deal of feedback from our fans regarding ticket prices," said Tim Callahan, General Manager of the Vipers, "some of it positive and some of it negative. We have taken into consideration what the fans have been telling us, and with that information determined that it was the right move at this point to bring our prices down a few dollars. We feel that this will make our product even more affordable and appealing to families who want to attend our hockey games."

Students (18 and under or with a valid college ID) and senior citizens (55 and older) will pay just $10.50 for center ice and VIP box seats, and $8.50 in the goal sections. Vipers partial-season ticket plans are also still available, and packages now start at just $80! Plans can be purchased through the Vipers front office through the end of the season.

The Vipers return home after the New Year on Wednesday, January 4th as they host the Muskegon Fury for the first time this season at 7:05p.m. Come out and support your Vipers and greet the newest member of the team, Charlie Elezi! Call the front office today at (540) 345-PUCK to get your tickets!
