
Tracking the Storm - Leigh Salters

Guelph Storm News Release
Leigh Salters was drafted by the Storm in the 2nd round, 40th overall in the 2005 OHL Priority Selection. The London, Ont. Native played 4-seasons with the Storm before being traded to the London Knights. Over his Storm career, Salters appeared in 170 games, notching 13 goals and 26 assists.
Following his final two OHL seasons with the London Knights, Salters bounced between the AHL and ECHL, playing for the Worcester Sharks, Syracuse Crunch, Florida Everglades, and the Charlotte Checkers. Following the end of the 2013 season, Salters spent 3-seasons in Europe playing in the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL).
Salters attend Cardiff Metropolitan University where he earned a Master of Business Administration. Salters is currently a professional training coach for Innovative Fitness in Port Moody, British Columbia.
