OHL Ottawa 67's

67's Get into the Holiday Spirit, Saturday

December 9, 2021 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Ottawa 67's News Release

The holiday season is upon us, once again, and the Ottawa 67's will be getting festive during their Saturday, December 11 game against the Hamilton Bulldogs.

The 2:00pm EST puckdrop will mark Ottawa's annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Game, presented by The Brick. Fans are encouraged to wear their Christmas sweaters to the game, and they won't be alone, with the 67's rocking special Christmas sweater-themed jerseys for their matchup with the Bulldogs.

It wouldn't be the holidays without some gift-giving, either. The 67's are partnering with CTV and MOVE 100's Toy Mountain, with the goal of making sure that every child in Ottawa has a gift to open on Christmas morning. The Barber Poles are asking fans to bring a new, unwrapped toy for a child aged 0-12 to the game, and make sure that every kid in our community gets a visit from Santa. Fans unable to bring a toy to the game can donate online, to help Toy Mountain purchase toys in bulk.

Once the festivities have wrapped up on the ice, 67's fans can continue to spread the holiday cheer at the Ottawa Christmas Market. Located directly outside The Arena at TD Place, Lansdowne will be lit up with lights, music, and Christmas spirit. Enjoy live music, festive food and drinks, attractions, and even a little holiday shopping. The Ottawa Christmas Market will be open all day, Saturday, from 10am-10pm, so whether you'd rather go before, or after the game (or both), there's plenty of time to join in on the fun!

Both on and off the ice, the 67's will be getting into the holiday spirit on Saturday, so make sure that you come join a full day of festive fun!
