Missouri River Otters News Release

St. Charles, MO --- The Missouri River Otters of the United Hockey League are proud to announce that the 2004 Toys For Tots Teddy Bear Toss is set for Saturday, December 11 when the team takes on the Fort Wayne Komets at 7:05 PM.

Fans are encouraged to bring teddy bears and new, unwrapped toys to the game. There will be uniformed Marines at the gates to collect all of the toys, which will be given to the Toys For Tots organization. The toys will help brighten the holiday season for many youngsters in need of cheer.

The teddy bears can be taken into the stands, and fans are asked to throw them onto the ice after the River Otters score their first goal. If the Otters haven't scored a goal after one period, fans can throw the teddy bears onto the ice at the conclusion of the first period. All of the teddy bears will be collected and given to Toys For Tots.

The River Otters next game is Friday, December 10 against the Kansas City Outlaws at the Kemper Arena. The puck drops at 7:30 PM, and all of the action can be heard on KSLQ 104.5 and the B2 Webcast and Videocast, both located at www.riverotters.com.

Listen to most of the River Otters games on KSLQ 104.5, the team's flagship station!
