
Tough Week Continues for PawSox

Pawtucket Red Sox News Release
The PawSox have labored in the state of Ohio. They're 1-5 on the current road trip after losing to Toledo on Wednesday night, 5-3. In all, the PawSox (16-11) have lost 6 of their last 7 games. Doug Fister, on a M.L. rehab assignment, stymied the Pawtucket offense for 4 innings, while PawSox starter and loser, Ross Ohlendorf (3-2) surrendered 5 runs in three innings. It was the shortest outing of the season for Ohlendorf.
The PawSox scored all their runs in the fifth inning. Nate Spears homered and Daniel Nava hit a booming 2 run triple. Nava also had a double. Che-Hsuan Lin had a pair of hits. Chorye Spoon and Mark Melancon combined for 5 shutout innings of relief.
The series will continue on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. Tony Pena (0-2, 6.10) will face lefty Casey Crosby (2-2, 5.00).
