NO GOOD AT ALL: At 9-16, the Wings are off to their worst 25-game start since the 2001 club went 8-17...Rochester's 8-game skid is their longest losing streak since a franchise-worst 12-game losing streak August 23-September 3, 2010.

MAY DAY!: With the 2-1 loss, the Red Wings have lost their first 2 games in May for the first time since the 2002 club lost 4 in a row to open the month.

OH, DEAR: The Wings have been held to 4 runs or less in 6 straight games.

ONE AND DONE: Rochester fell to 3-5 in one run contests, including 4 straight losses.

CAN'T GET NO SATISFACTION: Cole DeVries is winless in 5 starts despite a 2.89 ERA...he has tossed 3 quality starts in a row, yet posted has 2 losses and one no-decision.

I WANNA GO HOME: The Wings went 1-for-5 with runners in scoring position...they are hitting just .183 (11-for-60) with runners in scoring position during their 8-game losing streak.

CHANGSAW MASSACRE: Ray Chang has hit safely in 9 straight games (11-for-32, .344) and in 13 of his last 14 games (.362, 17- for-47).

BULL DOZIER: Brian Dozier collected his team-leading 11th RBI.

NEW VIEW: Darin Mastroianni played second base for the first time since 2008, when he played 2 games there for the Single-A Lansing Lugnuts (Blue Jays)...he also made 58 starts at second for the short-season Single-A Auburn Doubledays (Nationals) in 2007.

Empire State Yankees (14-10)

ON A ROLL: Empire State has won a season-high 5 consecutive games.

WING KILLER: Three of Steve Pearce's 4 homers have come against the Wings...9 of his 14 RBI have also come against his former club.
