
Tortugas & Hammerheads Rained Out, Will Not be Made Up

DAYTONA BEACH, FL - The Daytona Tortugas and Jupiter Hammerheads were rained out on Sunday evening at Radiology Associates Field at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. Since the two teams do not meet again this season, the game will not be made up.
The Tortugas finished their six game homestand 4-2 and dropped the season series to the Hammerheads 8-7.
Looking towards next week, Daytona will hit the road for seven straight games. The Tortugas will spend the first four in Lakeland, then finish up with a three-game series in Tampa over the weekend. Daytona returns to The Jack on 8/21.
First pitch Monday is scheduled for 6:30 PM with coverage beginning at 6:20 with the Metcare Pregame Show on AM 1230, AM 1490, and FM 106.9 WSBB.
