Toros Home Opener this Saturday

Austin, TX Nov. 26, 2010 - The Austin Toros open the 2010-11 season at home against their Texas rival, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers tomorrow, November 27th at noon at Cedar Park Center. Cedar Park Chick-fil-A will sponsor the Toros first home game with Cow mascots in attendance to take pictures with fans and cheer the Toros on to victory. Fans should arrive early for store coupons and prizes. The first 1,000 fans to arrive at Cedar Park Center will receive complimentary cowbells courtesy of Cedar Park Chick-fil-A.

Saturday's game also marks the Toros' official unveiling of the D.R. Horton Home Court. The ceremony will take place prior to the noon tipoff.

Additionally, Austin Regional Clinic is sponsoring a special $1 Hot Dogs and $2 Sodas discount for all fans in attendance on Saturday.

"The anticipation and excitement of moving into Cedar Park Center has been building, and after five months, it's time to celebrate our first home game of the season with the best fans in the D-League," said Peter Lubell, Toros Chief Operating Officer. "The team is ready to start a winning tradition in what will be the best arena in the league and to introduce our brand of fast-paced, high-scoring basketball to our new fan base in Williamson County."
