
Toros acquire Jamaal Thomas

AUSTIN, TX (Feb. 26, 2009) - The Austin Toros announced today that the team has acquired forward Jamaal Thomas from the NBA D-League Player Pool.
The 6-8, 220 pound forward from Angelo State played previously this season for the Reno Bighorns. Thomas averaged 5.8 points, 1.9 rebounds and 14.2 minutes in 21 games.
Thomas takes the roster spot of Pops Mensah-Bonsu who received a GATORADE Call-Up to the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday.
