ON THE SCORESHEET

- Rob Madore made his first start for the Marlies, turning aside 23 shots to earn the victory and the game's first star.

- Richard Panik scored his fifth goal of the year to open the scoring for the Marlies early in the third period. Toronto is 8-0-0-0 when he records a point.
