Toronto Marlies News Release


The Toronto Marlies defeated the San Antonio Rampage, AHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers, by a score of 4-2 this afternoon in Texas.

Colby Robak's second goal of the season opened the scoring at 3:50 of the first period. The Marlies would even the game in the first minute of the middle frame on a Spencer Abbott powerplay tally. Troy Bodie and Greg Rallo traded goals late in the second period. After 16 scoreless minutes to start the final frame, T.J. Brennan scored the game winning goal with Toronto on a man advantage. Jerry D'Amigo added an empty net tally to secure the victory for the Marlies.

Toronto returns to the ice on Friday, November 29 when they travel to Hamilton for a 7:30 p.m. game.
