July 27, 2008 - Canadian American League (Can-Am)
Worcester Tornadoes News Release

Nashua, NH -- The game between the Worcester Tornadoes and Nashua Pride scheduled for Sunday evening, July 27, has been postponed due to heavy rain and unplayable field conditions.

The game will be made up on Friday, August 1, as part of a doubleheader, with Game One scheduled to start at 6:05pm. Game Two will start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game One. Both games will be seven-inning affairs. The rainout is the fifth of the season for Worcester. The Tornadoes have also had three games suspended due to inclement weather. The Tornadoes will travel to Sussex tomorrow to conclude Wednesday's suspended game that began at Hanover Insurance Park, then play Game One of a four-game series against the Skyhawks on Monday night. Both the completion of the suspended game and the regularly scheduled game are set for seven innings. RHP Alex Pena and LHP Craig Snipp will return to the mound to pick up where they left off from the suspended game. RHP Shaun McNamara will start the regularly scheduled game for Worcester. He will be opposed by Sussex righty Kyle Ruwe. First pitch is scheduled for 5:05pm.
