
Toporowski Listed in NHL Central Scouting's 'Players to Watch' List

Spokane Chiefs forward Luke Toporowski was included in the NHL Central Scouting's preliminary "Players to Watch" list announced on Monday, identifying potential prospects for the 2019 NHL Entry Draft next summer. Toporowski earned a "C" grade, indicating a potential fourth, fifth, or sixth round candidate.
Toporowski, a 17-year-old forward from Bettendorf, Iowa, played 61 games with the Chiefs last season, scoring 10 goals and 13 assists for 23 points. Through three games played in the young 2018-19 regular season, he has a goal and three assists.
He is one of 35 Western Hockey League players identified on the list, including 17 forwards.
