
Giants Claim D-Man Ryan Pouliot off Waivers from the Broncos

Vancouver, B.C. - Vancouver Giants General Manager Barclay Parneta announced today that the Giants have claimed 1998-born defenceman Ryan Pouliot (North Vancouver, B.C.) off waivers from the Swift Current Broncos.
Ryan Pouliot WHL Bio
The 6'2", 189 pound right-shot defenceman has suited up in 172 career WHL games with Red Deer, Kootenay and most recently Swift Current. During that span he has registered three goals along with 27 assists and 216 penalty minutes. He was originally selected by the Saskatoon Blades in the 11th round of the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft. He will wear #2 with the Giants.
With the addition of Pouliot, the Giants roster now sits at 27 players: 15 forwards, 10 defencemen and two goaltenders. Pouliot joins the G-Men ahead of their travels this week. They return to action tomorrow night in Kelowna against the Rockets at 7:05 PM.
