TJ House Joins Aeros

AKRON, OH - The Cleveland Indians announced Sunday lefthander T.J. House has been promoted to the Akron Aeros from the team's High-A affiliate, the Carolina Mudcats.

House will enter the Aeros rotation and will make his Double-A debut Tuesday evening at 7:05, against the Binghamton Mets.

Acquired by the Indians in the 16th round of the 2008 draft out of Picayune High School in Picayune, Mississippi, House has spent the first three seasons of his career at the Class-A level, including each of the last two years in the Carolina League. Since turning pro, House has crafted a 20-33 minor league record.

He began this season in the Mudcats rotation, going 2-0, 1.44, in four starts. He registered 26 strikeouts and six walks in 25 innings prior to his call-up.

The Aeros roster now stands at 24 players.

The Aeros will continue the current homestand as they welcome in the Binghamton Mets on Monday evening at 7:05. It will start a four-game series, running through Thursday at Canal Park.
