Titcomb joins Thunder while Spencer reassigned to Syracuse

Glens Falls, NY - The Adirondack Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, announced today the team has added defenseman Aaron Titcomb on an amateur try out. Additionally, the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning have reassigned defenseman Matthew Spencer from Adirondack to the AHL's Syracuse Crunch.

Titcomb, 24, joins the Thunder after a four-year career at Merrimack College, where he appeared in 102 career collegiate games. The 6-4 blueliner amassed 14 points (1-13-14) with the Warriors, including a career-high nine points (1-8-9) as a sophomore during the 2015-16 season. Spencer, 21, has collected two points (1-1-2) from 12 games played with the Thunder, in addition to four points (1-3-4) from 37 games played with Syracuse in the AHL.
