
Florida's Mackenzie is AMI Graphics/ECHL Plus Performer of the Month

PRINCETON, N.J. - Florida Everblades' defenseman Matt Mackenzie is the AMI?Graphics ECHL?Plus Performer of the Month for March after leading the league with a plus-minus rating of +16.
Mackenzie posted an even or better rating in each of his 13 games in the month, including a +3 in a 7-2 win against Norfolk on March 21, and five other games where he was a +2.
The 26-year-old is fourth on the Everblades with a +26 rating and he has tallied 30 points (6g-24a) in 39 games this season.?He has added one assist in 22 games with Springfield of the American?Hockey League.
A native of New Westminster, British Columbia, Mackenize has posted 65 points (14g-51a) in 124 career ECHL games with Florida, Manchester, Elmira,?Greenville and Gwinnett while adding 40 points (10g-30a) in 237 career AHL games with Springfield, Portland and Rochester.
Prior to turning pro, Mackenzie tallied 97 points (18g-79a) in 225 career games in the Western Hockey League with Calgary and Tri-City.
In recognition of his accomplishment, AMI?Graphics will present Matt Mackenzie with a personalized Plus Performer of the Month Banner during an on-ice ceremony at an upcoming Everblades' home game.
