Titans give a hand for charity

TRENTON, NJ (March 17, 2004) - The Trenton Titans announced today they will be hosting their second annual Titans Handprint Auction to benefit the Somerset Home. The event will take place at Sovereign Bank Arena on Sunday, March 21 at 3:00pm as the Titans face-off against the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies.

Fans will have the chance to bid on the handprints of their favorite Titans players during a silent auction to be held on the concourse of Sovereign Bank Arena. The players' handprints have been signed, mounted and will be available for a starting bid of $10.

The Somerset Home, incorporated in 1970, is an agency dedicated to meeting the needs of abused and neglected adolescents. Somerset Home offers a range of programs including the Somerset Youth Shelter, Pathways Life Skills Education and Outreach, and the Passages Transitional Living Program. Over 400 children, teens, and families are assisted by the fifty Somerset Home staff members each year. The Trenton Titans are a member of the ECHL - America's Premier "AA" Hockey League. The Trenton Titans play at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, NJ. The Titans take on the Peoria Rivermen tonight at 7:00pm. The Titans then host the Reading Royals for a two-game set on Friday, March 19 at 7:30pm and Saturday, March 20 at 7:00pm.
