LaRose Recalled to Lowell, Surma Reassigned

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades President/GM Craig Brush announced today that the Lowell Lock Monsters (AHL) have recalled forward Chad LaRose. The rookie forward has registered 16 goals and 19 assists for 35 points in 41 games with Florida this season. The Fraser, Michigan native has seen action in 23 games during two previous call-ups this season to Lowell and has notched 8 points.

Surma returns to the Blades for the third time this season after seeing action in 48 games in Lowell. Surma, who hails from Lincoln Park, MI and was drafted in the sixth round of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft by the Carolina Hurricanes, has seen action in 11 games this season with Florida posting a point a game with 4 goals and 7 assists for 11 points.
