Streaks (Last 10)

Florida: 2-0 (7-3); Trenton: 0-3 (3-6-0-1)

Record (Road/Home)

Orlando: 12-4-1-3 Home (7-1-0-2 in last 10, 4 games went OT/SO, shut out in only loss); Trenton: 7-11-2-2 Road (4-5-1 last 10 on Road).

Getting Tricky

With his hat trick last night against Florida, Stephen Schultz became the third Titan to turn the trick this season. Andy Bohmbach was the first to do it when he dropped three on reading November 11th. Then Marcel Noebels started off December with a hat trick against Elmira on the 1st.

DID YOU KNOW?

Trenton is 3-5-1-1 against the South Division and has outshot the Division 310-295.

Trenton has a 19.5% PP rate against the South (8-41), while killing penalties at a 84.6% rate (33-39).

The Titans have scored more goals on the road and in less games (22 gm-69 goals) than at home (23 gm-63 goals). They have also allowed more goals (87) then at home (70).

Trenton's 4 OTW are its most since prior to 2006-07 (had 3-4x). The 4-3 record is the only .500-plus mark in that time since 06-07, when they went 2-1.

Flair For The Dramatic

Trenton knows how to close out an OT win

It doesn't matter if you failed to hold a lead or fought back into a game - when you get to overtime, you want that extra point.

But why just win? Do it with flair!

The Titans have done that four times this year - their most OTW since prior to 2006-07 - and all with style.

First Marcel Noebels (now in Adirondack-AHL) scored on the PP just 26 seconds into OT against Reading December 27th. Then the Titans burned their arch-rival in their next OT meeting on January 16 - this time by Andy Bohmbach on the PP in the final 27 seconds. Then Derrick Pallis made his 1st GWG memorable, another PPG against LV with 23 seconds to play.

But all those were at home. Mike Ullrich got his chance by banging home a rebound with 27.7 left to beat FLA, 5-4. Plus, that was an even strength tally. Different, but the same.

So if the Titans head to another OT - especially at home - better not leave your seat. You just might miss a VERY late game winner.
