AUGUSTA, GA - The Trenton Titans rallied in the third period to score a 3-2 victory in the shootout over the Augusta Lynx in front of 2,925 at the Augusta-Richmond County Civic Center.

Mark Lee was able to give the Titans a 1-0 lead with a power play goal just ten seconds before the first period ended. After being denied on a one-timer by Jason Wolfe, Lee backhanded his own rebound into the open net for his fourth of the season.

The Lynx would answer back on the man-advantage in the second period. Nicholas Corbeil knotted the score at one with a wrister that beat Dustin Traylen at 10:22 of the frame. Augusta then took a 2-1 lead with 1:34 remaining in the second when Joel Stepp stuffed home his 12th marker of the year.

Mike Jarmuth allowed the Titans to tie it up with yet another goal on the power play as he snuck a slap shot under Wolfe's leg pad with 9:44 left in regulation.

Neither team would be able to notch the deciding goal through the rest of the third period or the overtime. In the ensuing shootout, Mark Lee registered the game-clinching goal in the top half of the fifth round and Dustin Traylen stopped 3 of 5 Lynx shooters to seal the win.

Traylen finished with 25 saves to up his record to 12-6-0. The Titans went 2-for-7 on the power play and 5-for-7 on the penalty kill.
