Titans Add Defenseman Mallaro

TRENTON, N.J. - The Trenton Titans announced the signing of defenseman Stephen Mallaro.

Mallaro, 24, and a native of Syracuse, N.Y., appeared in four games with the ECHL Elmira Jackals and seven with the Federal Hockey League Danbury Whalers. He scored three goals in his time with the Whalers.

The 6-foot-2, 195-pound Mallaro had a four-year career at SUNY-Oswego, earning First Team All-SUNYAC honors in 2009-10 and a Second Team All-SUNYAC spot in 2010-11. He scored 36 points (11 goals, 25 assists) during his final two seasons with the Lakers

The Titans play in Elmira Friday night (Dec. 2) and Wheeling Saturday evening before returning home for a game with the Jackals at 4:00 p.m. Sunday. A full-team autograph session will follow Sunday's game.

The Titans 25 Days of Christmas, with many special offers, debuted at www.trentontitanshockey.com at 12 p.m. today. A new opportunity, involving tickets, merchandise or unique access, will appear each day through Christmas at 12 p.m. on the site.
