
Everblades Acquire Defenseman Martin from Bakersfield

ESTERO, FL -- Florida Everblades president and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Greg Poss announced today the team has acquired defenseman Jimmy Martin from the Bakersfield Condors in exchange for forward Robby Dee.
Martin, 23, has registered 8 points (2g, 6a) in 19 appearances with the Condors this season. Last season, the 5'9", 185-pound blue liner finished his four year career at Yale totaling 58 points (11g, 47a), while finishing with 23 points (7g, 16a) during his senior season. The St. Louis, MO native went scoreless in games with the Reading Royals last spring. Jimmy Martin Career Stats
Dee, 24, has tallied five goals and three assists in 17 games this season with the Everblades. The 6'1", 195-pound rookie forward played four seasons at the University of Maine from 2006-2011, finishing his career with 74 points (33g, 41a), including a 35-point senior campaign. Dee is a native of Plymouth, MN and is a third-round selection of the Edmonton Oilers in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. Robby Dee Career Stats
The Everblades are in action against the Gwinnett Gladiators this Friday at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. The fun on Saturday begins at 5:00 p.m. for the McDonald's Tailgate Party which will feature live music on the Comcast Stage as well as bounce houses and face painting for the kids!
