Nashville Kats News Release
NASHVILLE (May 18, 2006) - Tennessee Titans and Nashville Kats owner K.S. "Bud" Adams, Jr. confirmed Thursday that members of the Titans' 2006 Rookie Class will be in attendance at the Nashville Kats playoff game this Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Gaylord Entertainment Center.
The players, including third-overall draft pick Vince Young, and second-round pick LenDale White, will be available to fans before the game to sign autographs from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Young will also be featured in the game's coin toss, and the entire class will be introduced at halftime of the game.
"This is a great addition to what will already be an exciting playoff match-up. I thought it was important enough to have them there so I provided my plane for their transportation," said Adams. "Throughout the season many Titans players have attended games and have been very supportive of the Kats organization, and we are looking forward to having the new players there on Sunday."
The Kats host the Chicago Rush in the American Conference Wild-Card Round of the 2006 AFL Playoffs. The winner will go on to face either Colorado or San Jose in the semifinals next week.
Tickets are still available for this weekend's contest and can be purchased through Ticketmaster by calling (615) 255-9600 or by visiting www.ticketmaster.com.
