Colorado Crush News Release
DENVER - The 2005 ArenaBowl Champion Colorado Crush announced today that they will host a Divisional Round contest at Pepsi Center on Sunday, May 28th at 1:30 p.m. MT. The Crush enter the playoffs as the American Conference's top seed for the second straight year and will have home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
As a special treat for fans attending the Crush's Divisional Round playoff game, Colorado's own American Idol finalist, Ace Young, will be singing the national anthem and doing a special halftime performance.
By virtue of winning their second straight Central Division crown, the Crush received a bye in the Wild Card Round this weekend. Colorado's opponent for the Divisional Round will be determined between the Wild Card games between the sixth seed Utah Blaze vs. the third seed Arizona Rattlers or the fifth seed Chicago Rush vs. the fourth seed Nashville Kats. In the Divisional Round of the AFL playoffs, teams are re-seeded, so the Crush will host the lowest remaining seed.
