Friday night at the KC Irving Centre in Bathurst, the Wildcats roared to an early 3-0 first period lead but the Titan slowly clawed back and pulled away with four third period goals in a 7-4 win before 2,400 jubilant fans.
Veteran Milo Roelens, honoured by the Titan in a pregame ceremony, scored three goals for Bathurst. Moncton was led by Vincent Collard's two powerplay goals (27th, 28th), with others to Julius Sumpf (21st) and Caleb Desnoyers (19th). Yoan Loshing and Myles Mueller chipped in with two assists each. The Cats were minus Connor Trenholm, Adam Fortier-Gendron, Alesh Zielinski & Cooper Cormier.

The regular season winds up Saturday at 4pm. at Avenir Centre with a rematch against the Titan. Moncton's 20-year-old veterans will be honoured - Oonnor Trenholm, Olivier Boutin and Oscar Plandowski. The Cats still hold down third place in the Eastern Conference and the Moncton's first round opponent will be determined after today's games.
