The Portland Timbers square off against Seattle Sounders FC tonight; kickoff is set for 7 p.m. (Pacific) at CenturyLink Field. The match will feature a regional television broadcast on ROOT SPORTS, with local radio broadcasts on 750 The Game (English) and La GranD 1150AM/93.5 FM (Spanish).
Tonight's contest marks the 109th all-time meeting between Portland and Seattle since the 1975 season and the 35th across all competitions in the MLS era. Notably, the Timbers are unbeaten (2-0-1) in their last three regular-season road matches against Sounders FC. Individually, Diego Valeri has tallied five goals and eight assists in 19 career regular-season appearances against Seattle.
