
Timbers Record 1-0 Shutout Win against FC Dallas at Providence Park

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers recorded a 1-0 shutout win against FC Dallas tonight at Providence Park in front of their first full-capacity crowd since March of 2020. Jeremy Ebobisse provided the late game-winner, and the shutout was Portland's third of the 2021 campaign.
Providence Park Is Back To Full Capacity
Tonight's attendance of 23,255 was the largest crowd at a sporting event in Oregon since the Timbers played host to Nashville SC on May 8, 2020 (25,218, sell-out). The match against Nashville was the 163rd consecutive sell-out at Providence Park, composed of 155 regular-season and eight playoff games. Portland reopened Providence Park to full capacity on June 30, 2021.
300 MLS Goals At Providence Park
Tonight's goal was the Timbers' 300th in MLS play at Providence Park since joining the league in 2011. In 170 regular-season home games, the Timbers are 91-34-45. Diego Valeri leads the club in goals (51) and assists (50) at Providence Park.
Ebobisse Game Winner
Ebobisse's 84th minute goal was his third of the 2021 campaign, which is tied with Dairon Asprilla for the team lead. Tonight's match marked Ebobisse's second consecutive game with a goal, and his third goal in the Timbers' past four matches. Ebobisse now has 25 goals in 85 regular-season games with Portland.

POR - Jeremy Ebobisse (Yimmi Chara), 84th minute: Near the center circle, Yimmi Chara flicked the ball through a congested midfield into the path of Ebobisse. Taking several touches to get himself near the top of the 18-yard box, Ebobisse cut the ball onto his left foot, and fired it into the top left corner of the goal.

Dario Zuparic, Josecarlos Van Rankin, Dairon Asprilla, and Diego Valeri are the only Timbers to appear in all 12 regular-season matches in 2021.
Tonight was the first regular-season game Eryk Williamson did not feature in, who is away on national team duty at the Concacaf Gold Cup with the USMNT.
Overall, the Timbers are 91-34-45 in regular-season play at Providence Park.
