
Timbers Announce Partnership with Performance Training Specialist

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers today announced a partnership with EXOS, formerly Athletes' Performance, to become the club's official performance training provider.
As part of the agreement, EXOS will assign a performance specialist to serve as Portland's fitness coach during the 2014 Major League Soccer season.

"As an analytical coach, Caleb Porter is always looking for ways to enhance the team and this partnership helps us address an area that we felt needed improvement, while also signaling an additional investment into our club and players. We feel that aligning ourselves with EXOS, which uses industry-leading technology and maintains a long track record of success as performance training specialists, will help us toward our goals as a club."
Founded in 1999 as a training facility for professional and elite athletes, EXOS provides training, nutrition and physical therapy programs from its six locations across the country while also supporting various professional teams domestically and internationally.
