Medicine Hat Tigers News Release

Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers held their Annual Medicine Hat News Teddy Bear Toss game Saturday, November 30th, 2019, against the Saskatoon Blades.

In the first period, while the Tigers were on the power play, veteran forward Brett Kemp scored the all important goal to send the bears flying onto the ice just over five minutes into the game.

Once everything was collected, there was 1,725 stuffed animals and 1,085 winter wear items thrown on the ice. These items will be split between three local charities: the Medicine Hat Health Foundation, the Medicine Hat Women's Shelter and the local Salvation Army.

The Medicine Hat Tigers would like to thank all the fans who generously participated in this year's Teddy Bear Toss, as well as the Bantam AAA SEAC Tigers for helping to collect the items from the ice and the Medicine Hat College Rattlers for helping count the items collected.
