Brandon, MB. - A big come from behind win for the Brandon Wheat Kings Tuesday night.
The Wheat Kings scored six unanswered third period goals to beat the visiting Swift Current Broncos 7-3 in front of close to three thousand fans at Westoba Place.
Trailing 3-1 through forty minutes of play, the Wheat Kings evened the score with back to back goals in the opening two minutes of the third, before Duncan Pierce's second goal of the game put Brandon on top at the 4:16 mark.
Less than two minutes later, Cole Reinhardt - the Wheat Kings TELUS Player of the Month for November - gave Brandon a two goal advantage and they
Goals by Ty Thorpe and Lynden McCallum, with their second goals of the night, rounded out the scoring for the Wheat Kings, who improved to 13-15-1-0 on the season.
Sergei Alkhimov, Hayden Ostir and Aiden Bulych scored in a losing cause for the Broncos, who were outshot 38-27.

The Wheat Kings will be hoping to make it three straight wins on home ice this Friday night when the Kamloops Blazers pay their first visit to Brandon in two years.
Friday's game is a presentation of Princess Auto and the first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a Wheat Kings' special edition toque.

While the Wheat Kings were busy dropping one Tuesday night, the hockey club did have some exciting news to share with their fans.
The Western Hockey League club has announced that TSN Hockey Insider Bob McKenzie will headline the 2020 Sportsman's Dinner on Thursday, February 6th.
The event, which will also feature comedian Kelly Taylor, is held annually to raise money for the Wheat Kings' Scholarship Foundation.
