Medicine Hat Tigers News Release
Medicine Hat, AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers are proud to announce their two picks in this morning's WHL US Priority Draft.
With the ninth selection in the US Draft, the Tigers selected Shaeffer Gordon-Carroll (Salt Lake City, UT) from the Chicago Mission U14AAA program as a part of the High Performance Hockey League.
Gordon-Carroll had 20 points (12 goals, 8 assists) in 15 games in the 2022-23 season.
Tigers Director of Player Personnel Bobby Fox says Gordon-Carroll has all the tools to be a great Tiger.
"Schaefer is a power forward with speed and strength," he says. "He plays a diverse game having offensive flare while being strong in battles and on the puck."

In the 2022-23 season, Davidson had 107 points (60 goals, 47 assists) in 51 games played.
Fox says the team was happy to add Davidson to the prospect pool.
"Noah is another good-sized forward with power elements, a nice set of hands, and a heavy shot. He demonstrates strong play in all three zones and has a strong will to get to the net."
