
Tigers Acquire Fradette from Portland

Medicine Hat AB - The Medicine Hat Tigers are pleased to announce they have acquired 18 year old goaltender Evan Fradette from the Portland Winterhawks in exchange for a conditional 8th round pick in the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft.
The St. Albert native played the 2018-19 season for the St. Albert Raiders Midget 'AAA' team posting a 2.35 GAA and a .913 SV%.
Tigers General Manager and Head Coach Willie Desjardins said "We're thrilled to add a player of Evan's caliber to our team. He proved he can play under pressure at last years Mac's Midget Hockey Tournament in Calgary " Desjardins added "We would like to welcome Evan to the Tigers family." Fradette helped the Raiders win the Mac's Tournament going 6-1, to go along side a .950 SV% and a 1.68 GAA.
The Tigers next action is Saturday, September 7th as they travel east to Regina to take on the Pats in their 2nd pre-season tilt of the year. Puck Drop is set for 7:00pm.
