Rockets prepare for weekend tune up

The Kelowna Rockets regular season just over two weeks away, Kelowna will head into the second last weekend of preseason action.
The Rockets will face the Everett Silvertips Saturday, Sept. 7 at 3:30pm in Langley, BC as part of the Vancouver Giants Preseason Tournament at the Langley Events Centre. They will then head home to host the Prince George Cougars at Prospera Place on Sunday, Sept. 8 at 5:05pm.
With Nolan Foote, Kaedan Korczak, Dillon Hamaliuk, Jake Lee, Sean Comrie, Kyle Topping and Leif Mattson having all departed for NHL camps/tournaments, more young faces will be in the Rockets lineup again. See the Rockets current roster: here.
Kelowna has already played two preseason games, defeating Victora 4-0 last Friday and falling to the Kamloops Blazers 5-3 on Sunday. Import player Pavel Novak made his North American debut with the Rockets on Sunday, picking up an assist on the Rockets opening goal. Alex Swetlikoff, Liam Kindree, Cayde Augustine, Kyle Crosbie and Jake Poole all have two points thus far. View the Rockets preseason statistics: here.
Tickets for all Rockets preseason games are on sale at selectyourtickets.com, at the Prospera Place box office or by phone at 250-762-5050. Two dollars from each ticket sold during the preseason will go towards Cops for Kids.
