
Evan Fradette Traded to Medicine Hat

The Portland Winterhawks announced they have traded goaltender Evan Fradette to the Medicine Hat Tigers for a conditional 2021 WHL Bantam Draft pick.
Fradette played the last two seasons for his hometown St. Albert Raiders Midget AAA team. In 14 regular season games last year, the 18 year old recorded a 2.35 goals against average and .913 save percentage. Through 11 playoff games, Fradette posted a 2.17 GAA with a .929 save percentage.
The former fifth round pick of the Winterhawks was preparing to play in the Alberta Junior Hockey League with the Fort McMurray Oil Barons. He was one of four signed Winterhawks goaltenders with Joel Hofer, Dante Giannuzzi and Lochlan Gordon.
