
Tiger-Cats Add Three to Practice Roster

HAMILTON - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have added import receiver Rashad Evans, import defensive back Ryan Lacy and import defensive end Brandon Thurmond to their practice roster.
Evans, a 5-9, 187-pound native of San Francisco, California, played four seasons at Fresno State before attending training camp with the Atlanta Falcons earlier this year. He caught 138 passes for 1,321 yards and 12 touchdowns while returning 53 punts for 537 yards during his collegiate career.
Lacy, a 5-9, 186-pound native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, spent time with the New Orleans Saints this year after four years at Utah. In 37 games with the Utes, he made 80 tackles and five interceptions.
Thurmond, a 6-2, 260-pound native of Augusta, Georgia, was named the SWAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2012 after making 63 tackles, 16.5 quarterback sacks and 25 tackles for a loss in his senior season at Arkansas-Pine Bluff. He took part in training camp with the Atlanta Falcon in August.
