Tiger-Cats Add Four on Defence

Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has signed import defensive end Derek Drummond and non-import defensive lineman Louie Richardson as well as import defensive backs Clem Johnson and Josh Wilkins.

Drummond, a 6-2, 230-pound native of Waldorf, Maryland, recorded 32 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, 2.5 quarterback sacks and two interceptions in one season at Abilene Christian after transferring from Maryland.

Richardson, a 6-4, 220-pound native of Vancouver, British Columbia,registered 55.5 tackles, two tackles for a loss, one quarterback sack over four seasons at Manitoba.

Johnson, a 6-0, 190-pound native of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, posted 97 tackles and four interceptions in two seasons with NC State. He also returned 30 kickoffs for 585 yards and seven punts for 79 yards.

Wilkins, a 5-10, 178-pound native of Riviera Beach, Florida, made 48 tackles, 19 pass breakups and two interceptions in two years at Fayetteville State.
