Tides Announce Armed Forces Night Festivities

The Norfolk Tides have announced plans for Armed Forces Night at Harbor Park. The game will be played on Saturday May 19 against the Pawtucket Red Sox, with first pitch scheduled for 7:15 pm.
Armed Forces Night honors the men and women who serve our great nation. Active duty military personnel, their dependents and military retirees will receive discounted tickets with proper identification. Reserved Seats are $6.50 in advance and $7.50 day of game.
A performance by the United Sates Air Force Heritage of America Band from Joint Base Langley-Eustis is among the highlights of this year's festivities. The Navy's CHARGERS of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron TWO SIX will be providing a flyover prior to the ceremonial first pitch.
Representatives from each of the Armed Forces will present activities and displays in and around the stadium throughout the event. A Fireworks Extravaganza presented by Navy Mutual will follow the game.
Pre-game celebrations will begin when the gates open at 6 p.m.
