Hershey Bears News Release
HERSHEY â The HERSHEY Bears announced today that limited seats and standing room tickets are still available for both of their home games this weekend.
The Bears, who host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins on Saturday at 7:00 PM and the Philadelphia Phantoms on Sunday at 6:00 PM, are playing their final two regular season games at historic HERSHEYPARK Arena, which opened in December of 1936. The Bears are moving to the 10,500-seat GIANT Center next year.
The Bears' annual Player Awards Ceremony will precede Saturday's game. On Sunday, Comcast presents "A Night To Remember: The Final Regular Season Game at HERSHEYPARK Arena." All fans will be treated to a retrospective pre-game video and will receive numerous giveaway items, including a placard in which they may place their historic ticket stud, a champagne glass and a HERSHEY's chocolate bar covered in a commemorative wrap. Those former Bears who have had their numbers retired and the former captains of the eight Calder Cup Teams will be on hand at the game. The Bears will be wearing special jerseys on that night only â the HERSHEYPARK Arena anniversary logo will be featured as the center crest. The Bears will hold a "Shirt Off Our Backs" promotion at the conclusion of the game when the Bears players will give their jerseys to randomly-selected fans.
Fans may purchase tickets by phoning the HERSHEYPARK Arena Box Office at (717) 534-3911.
