Montreal Alouettes News Release

Montreal, October 14, 2003 - The defending Grey Cup Champion Montreal Alouettes, winners of their fourth Eastern Championship in five years, begin ticket sales tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. for the East Division Championship, presented by WestJet, at Olympic Stadium.

The game will be played on November 9 at 4 p.m. and the Alouettes are hoping to fit in even more fans than in 2002. "We were able to add seats to last year's stadium configuration (57,125) and right now 59,358 fans will be able to join the party, but we're trying to find room for additional seats to bring the capacity over 60,000 to allow fans from across the province to attend this crucial game," said Ellis Prince, President and CEO of the Alouettes.

Fans will have three ways to purchase tickets:
* Alouettes' ticket office (646 Sainte-Catherine Street West)
* Olympic Stadium (4545 Pierre-de-Coubertin Avenue)
* Admission outlets 1-800-361-4595 or (514) 790-1245, www.admission.com

Sections reserved for minor football organizations A few mobile sections of temporary stands will be added closer to the field of play and will be reserved for minor football organizations, who will have the opportunity to purchase those seats for only $20. Additional tickets will also be available at the 400 level for minor football organizations for only $17.50. Over 10,000 young football players took advantage of the offer in 2002 and this year again, they will be able to waive their thundersticks, which will be distributed to the kids sporting their team colours.

A new surface

XL Turf, a new state-of-the-art artificial surface with a natural grass look, will be installed for the game. Provided by Montreal-based Symbior Technologies, the surface will enhance the product with better comfort and aesthetic and is known to be safe for the players.

Priority: Season ticket holders

Season ticket holders have received their correspondence and have priority to purchase their tickets until October 24. On October 15, all the other seats will become available to the general public. Subscribers will be able to buy up to 10 additional seats through a private line and the general public will have a maximum purchase of six tickets.
